After much effort and consultation, we have finally gotten to the bottom of that polycarbonate visor PPE matter.

The lack of clear language offered in the technical literature from visor and face shield products or clarity through CSA/ANSI/EN PPE standards has made it difficult to determine what is ultimately required.

SIMPLIFIED: If there is a nose cut out, you're using what might as well be eye protection (or goggles).
To be compliant on BC face protection + eye protection workplace regulations, you would still need a mesh face shield over top of a visor.
